Privacy policy
Last updated: September 2026. Hanzi Sheets is built to be private by design: the worksheet generator runs entirely in your browser, and there is no account system.
What we do NOT collect
- The text or word lists you paste into the generator — they never leave your device.
- Your generated worksheets.
- Your mistake book (错词本) — it lives only in your browser's local storage.
What is stored on your device

Clearing your browser data removes all of the above. We have no server-side copy to restore from.
Payments
Purchases are processed by our Merchant of Record, Waffo Pancake. When you buy a plan, Waffo collects the information needed to process payment and handle taxes (email, country, billing details, card data). We receive from Waffo only your email address, the plan purchased, and the order status — never your card number. Waffo's own privacy terms apply to the checkout.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly, cookie-less aggregate analytics (page views and referrers only) to understand which pages are useful. No cross-site tracking, no advertising trackers, no sale of personal data.
If you email us or join the waitlist, we use your address only to reply and to notify you about the product you asked about. One-click unsubscribe, no third-party sharing.
Children
The Service is designed to be used by parents and teachers preparing materials for children. It requires no personal information from children and collects none.
Your rights & contact
For access, correction, or deletion requests related to purchase records, contact support@hanzisheets.com. Because worksheet content never reaches our servers, there is generally nothing of yours for us to delete.
